Getting There in New York City

Getting to New York City

Three airports serve NYC: JFK and Newark (EWR) for long-haul, LaGuardia (LGA) for domestic. All connect by AirTrain + subway/NJ Transit, or ~$60–80 by cab/rideshare. Once in the city, skip a car entirely — the subway runs 24/7 and is the fastest way around; walk Manhattan's grid.

  • JFK John F. Kennedy International — 50 min drive
  • LGA LaGuardia (domestic) — 30 min drive
  • EWR Newark Liberty International — 45 min drive
